Carbonisation Furnace Charcoal Processing Time

In the previous article on carbonisation furnace, I believe you have a certain understanding of carbonisation furnace. Recently, many customers have enquired about how long does it take to process charcoal in carbonisation furnace? The decision of charring time is mainly determined by the quality of equipment and process.

Traditional carbonisation furnace: its processing charcoal speed is slow. It usually takes 6-8 hours to finish the charring work.

Horizontal carbonisation Furnace: It usually takes 24 hours to charcoal. It also depends on the humidity, hardness and size of the raw material.

Continuous carbonisation furnace: adopting advanced production technology, the charring time is short, usually about 20 minutes to complete the charring work. Continuous feeding and discharging can be realised. The production capacity is 1~6t/h, and it can run continuously for 24 hours.

Carbonisation Furnace Charcoal Processing Time

Carbonisation furnace working principle: put the waste wood into the charcoal furnace for charring. The humidity requirement of raw material is not high. Firstly, the fire is ignited by the ignition system. The charring furnace body starts to warm up gradually. The temperature rises to about 200~250 degrees. The waste wood undergoes anaerobic pyrolysis in the furnace body. The drying stage begins. At the same time, flammable gas will be generated, which can be returned to the bottom of the furnace body for secondary heating. Recycling. When the temperature inside the carbonisation furnace reaches: 500~600 degrees. The wood can be finished charring. The specific charring time needs to be decided according to the size of the charring furnace.

What factors determine the charring time of the carbonisation furnace?

1. Pyrolysis temperature and heat conduction system: the charring temperature inside the furnace is the key to affect the charring time. The waste wood is dried and pyrolysed at the right temperature. The heat can be quickly introduced into the wood. Thus, the heating time of the carbonisation furnace can be shortened.

2. Raw material humidity: Humidity is also an important factor in determining the charring time. If the moisture of raw material is high, it will increase the drying time, which will lead to increase the length of pyrolysis process of waste wood. Carbonisation furnace needs to achieve pretreatment drying of raw materials. This ensures that the subsequent charring efficiency can be improved.
