Lithium battery black mass roasting kiln developed and manufactured a new type of energy-saving kiln. The furnace temperature control is even, long service life, stable operation, equipped with inert gas protection. The oxygen content in the kiln is <2%, which is suitable for lithium battery black matter reduction roasting kiln. Black powder by adding sulfuric acid, carbon powder under high temperature heating for reduction reaction, so as to get lithium carbonate and lithium salt. So as to achieve the purpose of priority lithium extraction. Or the black powder is directly passed into the oxygen for oxidation roasting, so as to get lithium carbonate.

 

The method of lithium extraction from waste lithium battery black powder by pressurised roasting and solidification of fluorine, the main steps include:

(1) disassembling the waste lithium battery to obtain black powder. Add a fluorine fixing agent to the black powder. After mixing, carry out pressure roasting to obtain clinker powder;

(2) Add water to the clinker powder and mix well to make a slurry, and then pass carbon dioxide gas into the slurry for reaction, and obtain a lithium-containing solution by solid-liquid separation;

(3) The lithium-containing solution is heated and decomposed to obtain high-purity lithium carbonate. The present invention has the ability to efficiently extract and recycle many types of lithium metal such as lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide, lithium fluoride, lithium phosphate, lithium hexafluorophosphate, and other lithium metals from waste lithium battery materials.  

At the same time to achieve the technical characteristics of curing impurity fluorine. Effectively solve the technical problems of different lithium battery types with different forms of lithium binding, low recovery rate, high fluorine impurity content and low quality of lithium products. Combustible gas and organic waste gas at the back end of the cracking are burned. The furnace is heated so as to achieve comprehensive calorific value reuse of the combustible gas.
