Fully automatic photovoltaic panel glass remover can remove more than 90% glass from photovoltaic panels. It is also equipped with dust removal system. No dust will be produced. The treated panels can be conveyed through. It is conveyed to the next step of crushing and sorting recycling line for processing. The treated glass is then collected in tonne packs. Hot Cut Separator: After secondary separation, the PV panels are fed into the hot cut separator through the conveying device. The PV glass is separated from the cells by means of electrical heating. This process consists of two separation processes. One is the broken glass separation process and the other is the whole glass separation process.  

 

Broken Glass Separation Process The photovoltaic glass panels enter the oven via a conveyor belt. Inside the oven, heating tubes evenly bake the glass panels. This process softens the adhesive film in the PV panels. It prepares for the next step of separation. After the softening process, the PV panels are transported to the head section of the machine. In the headstock position, there are two rollers and the PV glass panels will be fed into the middle of the rollers and squeezed. It moves forwards. At the same time, the glass panels are mechanically broken and separated by means of knives (left-right reciprocating motion). The separated glass portion flows downwards at the outlet which is collected and disposed of manually, while the glass plates are sent out above, again collected manually.  

 

Whole Glass Separation Process The photovoltaic glass panels enter the preheating plate via a conveyor belt. The panels are fixed by means of an upper pressure plate to prevent the panels from curling during the heating process. At the same time, the preheating plate is equipped with an electric heating device. The panels are heated uniformly. This process softens the film in the PV panels. It prepares for the next step of separation. After the softening process, the panels are transferred to the next stage of the thermal cutting process. The front end of the process is equipped with an upper and lower double roller unit. The preheated PV panels are fed into the middle of the drums and fixed. Moving forward, the panels are fed to the thermal cutting unit. The whole glass and the backsheet are separated by means of a cutter. The dismantled whole glass is collected by palletiser.
